Education & Employment Specialist

The specialist provides comprehensive support services to assist homeless and trafficked youth with career planning, academic achievement, and experiential learning, including goal setting, retention support, and soft skills development. Essential functions involve connecting youth to necessary resources, ensuring trauma-Informed service delivery, developing career pathways, offering job search support, and maintaining key community and business partnerships.

A minimum of an associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required, along with experience working with adolescent or disadvantaged populations, preferably in youth workforce development or student services. Candidates must possess strong crisis intervention skills, knowledge of community social services, and proficiency in data management, while adhering to strict confidentiality and mandated reporting requirements.
