Beginning and Lower School Teaching Assistant

The teaching assistant supports teachers and children in various settings, including classrooms and specialist classes, while also providing supervision during staff meetings and in after school programs. Essential duties involve supervising students, supporting the teaching team with materials and classroom management, and leading group activities.

Candidates should possess knowledge of developmentally appropriate activities and child development, along with the ability to build positive professional relationships and communicate effectively. A preferred qualification is an aa in education or a related field, along with at least six months of experience implementing activities for young children, and maintaining required certifications.
