PTFFC Peer Support Specialist

The peer support specialist provides ongoing support to children and foster families by modeling empathetic conversation grounded in evidence-Based practices like tbri and together facing the challenge. This role involves assessing needs, augmenting emotional/Psychological support, assisting with education, and teaching families skills to navigate challenging times.

Candidates must possess an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have two years of experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral and emotional disorders. Additional requirements include a valid texas driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and passing background, drug, and tb tests.
