Young Child Mental Health Spclst Contractor (20 Hours Per Week)

The specialist will provide consultation and observation services to early learning center staff regarding individual children, including guidance on challenging behaviors and developing culturally appropriate interventions. Key duties involve maintaining a small caseload for weekly therapy sessions with children and caregivers, conducting assessments, and assisting families with referrals to clinical services.

A master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a phd/Psyd is required, with a colorado lcsw, lpc, or lmft license heavily preferred. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience working with children aged birth to five in a mental health capacity, preferably with bilingual english/Spanish skills.
