Athletic Trainer

The athletic trainer acts as the first responder, responsible for preventing, recognizing, and evaluating injuries, and subsequently developing treatment and rehabilitation programs incorporating therapeutic modalities. This role also involves coordinating with physicians and allied health professionals regarding athlete status and providing counseling on conditioning and injury rehabilitation to students, athletes, and staff.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in athletic training, current boc certification, and current basic life support (Bls) certification, with prior experience in a secondary school setting preferred. Essential requirements include exceptional interpersonal communication skills, proven ability to collaborate, and the capacity to remain calm and effective in emergency situations while adhering to all cif rules.
