  • Overview: We are looking for a Youth Care Worker to support and mentor adolescent males in a residential program. This role focuses on helping youth develop life skills, maintain structure, and prepare for independence in a safe and supportive environment.

Schedule

  • Weekend
  • Shift: Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

Support youth with daily routines and life skills Provide guidance, mentorship, and support Assist with service plans and referrals Supervise residents and ensure a safe environment Conduct room checks and headcounts Document activities and incidents Provide transportation as needed

Qualifications

Associate degree or at least 60 college credit hours At least 1 year of experience working with high-risk adolescents (preferred in a residential setting) OR 3 years of experience working with at-risk youth instead of a degree Valid driver’s license Clean driving record Reliable transportation (proof of insurance may be required)

Requirements

Interest in working with youth Ability to manage group activities Strong communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries

Preferred

Experience in residential or social service settings Background in social services, psychology, or a related field Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
