Middle School Teacher, History/Humanities

The teacher will partner with a special educator in a co-Teaching classroom setting, applying expertise in student development and pedagogy for diverse learners to inspire academic excellence. Responsibilities include co-Planning tiered lesson plans using a universal design for learning framework, engaging students through interdisciplinary and project-Based learning, and contributing fully to the life of the school beyond primary teaching duties.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and lead classroom teaching experience, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to inclusive education. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, special education designation, independent school experience, and prior experience in a co-Taught or inclusive setting.
