Role description
Under the close supervision of the Learning & Development Manager, the Learning & Development Intern – Jr will support rapid eLearning course development by helping create, enhance, and update learner-centered digital training content. This role provides hands-on experience with instructional design fundamentals, digital content development, and design execution using established templates and standards. The intern will contribute to active course builds, assist with refreshing and localizing existing materials, and iterate on content based on feedback to help ensure learning solutions meet organizational quality standards and learner needs across a global audience.
Duties
- AND ACCOUNTABILITIES – BRIEF LISTING (Including but not limited to):
- Support development of eLearning courses in progress under L&D Manager supervision.
- Contribute to rapid eLearning content development and design execution using established templates and design standards.
- Assist with updating, refreshing, and localizing existing course materials (e.g., text, visuals, and interactions).
- Draft and format course content (e.g., storyboards, scripts, job aids, and slide content) based on source materials and guidance from the L&D team.
- Perform basic quality checks (e.g., spelling/grammar, formatting consistency, functionality checks) and implement revisions based on stakeholder feedback.
- Support course development aligned with executive and manager training requests and other business priorities.

- Must be able to explain ideas clearly, ask clarifying questions, and provide concise status updates in meetings and day-to-day collaboration.
- Must be able to produce clear, concise learner-facing writing (e.g., scripts, storyboards, job aids) with strong attention to grammar, formatting consistency, and tone.
Education
Must have completed Sophomore year and be working towards a B.S. in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
Training and experience
Relevant coursework and/or project experience in instructional design, digital learning, visual design, or content development. Prior experience working in an office setting is helpful but not required.
Other skills
365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); strong attention to detail and formatting consistency. Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise/Storyline) is preferred, or a demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly. Able to manage tasks and deadlines, communicate progress, and incorporate feedback through revision cycles.
Equipment operated
Telephone, personal computer, and various office equipment. Uses standard productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365) and eLearning development software/tools as assigned.
