The college counselor is responsible for guiding students through the successful transition to postsecondary education, which includes supporting academic planning, social-Emotional growth, and managing college admissions processes. Essential duties involve supporting the department, informing stakeholders of policies, guiding system utilization, writing recommendations, and coordinating college-Related events and tours.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field, along with experience in college admissions or counseling, demonstrating a strong understanding of the college admission process across various institution types.
