Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Foundations Pediatric Therapy is seeking an energetic, play-based individual with experience providing therapy to children. The position is for part-time employment that has the potential to grow into full time. The Speech Language Pathologist position is located in a community-based setting at Kids First Sports Center. Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group-based speech and language services to children from birth through age 12.
- Complete comprehensive evaluations for children seeking services.
- Consult with families and provide support for carryover of skills.
- Collaborate with other professionals to support families served.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of services.
- Schedule clients.
- Communicate and work effectively with other departments within facility to support program.
- Work with program director to create innovative evidence-based programming options for families in a community-based environment.
Requirements
- Speech Language Pathologist degree
- Current SLP license in the state of Ohio -3 or more years of experience working with children
- Strong desire to collaborate with other professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
