Teacher Certified Middle School

The teacher is primarily responsible for supporting the diocese of tucson's mission by evangelizing, catechizing, and educating youth within a catholic school environment, acting as a minister of the gospel both academically and behaviorally. Essential duties include recognizing and supporting the catholic mission, leading daily prayer, planning lessons aligned with academic and religious curricula, and effectively evaluating student progress.

Candidates must possess a current and valid arizona standard professional teaching certificate or alternative teacher certificate and maintain level i of the diocesan ministry certification. Basic qualifications require a strong commitment to the catholic mission, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer technology, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining professional bearing.
