RN Wound Care Coord - Med Education and Development

This role provides clinical expertise, education, consultation, leadership, and research concerning patient and staff needs related to wound, skin, ostomy, and continence care across the organization. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized plans of care, direct patient care, and educating staff and physicians on best practices.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, hold a current connecticut rn license, and possess certification in wound, ostomy, and continence care/Enterostomal therapy nursing. A bsn is required, an msn is preferred, and candidates need two to three years or more of progressive clinical experience in a medical/Surgical area.
