Lactation Educator RN

As a lactation educator (Rn), the role involves serving as a clinical expert in lactation care, providing hands-On support, consultation, and education for patients and families. This position strengthens care quality through interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-Based guidance, and developing specialized programs to enhance breastfeeding support.

Candidates must have a minimum of an adn with an expectation to complete a bsn within five years, hold a state of new mexico or compact state nursing license, and be certified as a certified lactation counselor or international board certified lactation consultant. Required certifications include bls, acls, and pals, along with registration with the nm board of nursing lactation care providers.
