Clinical Nurse Educator - Perinatal

The clinical nurse educator partners with leadership to develop and evaluate nursing practice in their specialty, providing clinical expertise within interdisciplinary teams and creating education for nursing staff. This role involves monitoring compliance, establishing care standards, initiating practice changes based on data analysis, and advancing nursing practice through evidence-Based interventions.

Required education includes a master of science in nursing with a post-Graduate nursing certificate in nursing education, or equivalent combination, along with an active oregon rn license and basic life support certification. Candidates must possess six years of clinical rn experience in the specialty area and three years in a unit-Based educator or similar role.
