Schedule
- Monday –
- Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Your Impact as a Behavior Support Technician
- The Behavior Support Technician assists Behavior Support Consultants through classroom observations, data collection, staff training on behavior plans, and monitoring treatment integrity. This role may also assist with special projects, including administrative tasks and crisis intervention training. Additionally, the technician ensures that IFSP/IEP mandates are consistently implemented.
- Provide behavioral consultation to teams under the guidance of the Behavioral Support Consultants
- Provide crisis intervention for individuals and assist with classroom routines
- Collect, organize and maintain direct observational data
- Assist with training of staff in best-practice methods
- Complete or assist with the completion of reports
- Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology, or a related field preferred
- minimum of one year direct clinical or educational experience with children or adults with developmental disabilities, preferably in an educational setting.

- Analysis including (but not limited to): understanding definitions and characteristics, legal and ethical standards, behavioral assessment, designing behavioral analytic programs, and evaluation progress.
