Direct Support Professional

The direct support professional supports adults with developmental disabilities in a community-Based day program by providing recreation, life skills training, and promoting independence. This role involves following behavior management programs, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating individual needs to coordinators.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have one year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, with dayhab experience being preferred. A valid nys driver's license and agency approval of the driving record are also mandatory.
