Camp Counselor

The Camp Counselor is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of school-age children by providing constant supervision and implementing structured, age-appropriate activities in areas like arts, STEM, and literacy. This role also involves supporting staff, guiding Counselors in Training, maintaining program documentation, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; college credits are preferred, and a minimum of one year of youth work experience, preferably in a camp setting, is required. Candidates must also obtain Child Abuse Prevention, Health and Safety certification from NYS OCFS within 30 days of hire.
