Childcare Assistant - Summer Camp

Childcare assistants will support the site director by leading daily camp activities, games, hands-On projects, and special events while fostering a positive and inclusive environment for campers. They must ensure camper safety by following all state and organizational guidelines and communicate daily with families using the playground app.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and must meet one of several virginia-Approved qualification pathways which involve varying levels of education or programmatic experience. Candidates must also pass a vdoe background check and be physically capable of active supervision, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
