Student Support Assistant: Lahaina, Maui, HI

The assistant will partner with the teaching team to support children with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs, helping implement support strategies based on individual needs and formal plans within a montessori-Inspired preschool setting. Responsibilities also include actively supervising students, assisting with classroom routines, supporting social-Emotional development, and collaborating with families and staff.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged and possess four or more years of professional experience working with children aged 3-5 in an assistant or lead capacity. Essential requirements include the ability to pass state-Mandated screenings, experience implementing iep strategies, and skills in building trusting relationships with families and staff.
