Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher develops and implements individualized curriculum and educational plans for students with severe or intensive special needs, while coordinating classroom staff and ancillary personnel activities. This role also involves overseeing the overall organization and structure of the classroom to meet students' educational, medical, and personal care needs.

Candidates must possess current massachusetts certification or provisional certification in severe/Intensive special needs, or equivalent certification transferable to massachusetts. Experience working with students with severe/Intensive special needs is preferred, along with strong skills in iep/Isp development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
