Clinical Diabetes Educator / RN

The registered nurse diabetes educator is responsible for delivering diabetes education utilizing the nursing process, adhering to hospital policies and protocols. This role also requires responding to life-Threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions and organizing care delivery through prioritization, delegation, and ongoing communication with providers and leaders.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold current rn licensure in the state of idaho. Bls certification is required within 14 days of hire or transfer before providing direct patient care, with cde certification being preferred.
