Core responsibilities
The job coach is responsible for training, supervising, and supporting individuals with disabilities in the community specifically related to their employment needs, ensuring quality work and adherence to employer production standards. This role involves acting as the primary liaison between worksites and the arc, providing training to site personnel, and developing contacts with potential employers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and a minimum of one year of experience in a health or human service field. Required qualifications include obtaining and maintaining a public service license within 90 days, cpr, medication administration, and first aid certifications, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
