Intervention Specialist

The intervention specialist supports educational and behavioral goals for all students, focusing on those with individualized education programs, by collaborating with teachers on intervention strategies and modifying general education curriculum. Key duties include conducting assessments, writing and implementing behavior plans, facilitating iep meetings, and utilizing research-Based best practices in instruction.

Candidates must possess a current state license and demonstrate knowledge of state standards and common core standards, along with experience in inclusion or co-Teaching models. Essential qualifications include high proficiency in written/Verbal communication, comfort with growth-Focused coaching, excellent organization, and the ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
