Chaplain Intern

The chaplain intern assists with direct ministry to patients and families, provides spiritual support to staff, and participates actively in the clinical pastoral education (Cpe) program activities under the direction of a certified educator. Responsibilities include responding to consults, providing rituals, sharing in leadership of staff support events, and consulting with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Candidates must possess a completed bachelor’s degree and preferably a graduate degree in theology or divinity, along with demonstrated professional skills like excellent interpersonal abilities and knowledge of ministry to diverse populations. Personal attributes such as compassion, maturity under stress, and commitment to self-Care and professional growth are also required.
