- StaffSUMMARY: Directly responsible for the coordination of tutorial services and for clerical and administrative duties of the program. The tutor Coordinator/Secretary reports to the Director of TRIO.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Become knowledgeable and remains current regarding the scope and purpose of the program Monitors the delivery of tutoring services to participants Prepares informational materials and promote the tutoring program to participants and faculty Assigns and notifies participants of individual and group tutoring sessions Coordinates and communicates with faculty to ensure tutorial effectiveness and student success Develops statistical and narrative reports regarding the success of the tutoring program Maintains accurate fiscal records and reports Generates reports, forms, correspondence, and related program documents Develops and maintains a management system for inventorying program materials and equipment Enters and/or updates student demographical information via the database software management Develops and maintains a comprehensive systematic participant file folder management process Assist the Director in collection of data and preparing the interim and final performance reports and grant proposal Performs other duties as assigned QualificationsMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience Ability to communicate effectively with the public, faculty, and students Knowledge of office machines and proficiency in computer skills An ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate® (ACT® WorkKeys® NCRC®) is one of the requirements for this job application.
