ECS II Teacher- Special Education

The ecs ii teacher coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students, developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps). They monitor student progress, employ various teaching strategies, and maintain a conducive learning environment.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. Extensive knowledge of instructional practices, state and federal policies, and the ability to work collaboratively with others are essential.
