Student Nurse Worker

The student nurse worker works under the direct supervision of a preceptor, providing services that are incidental to their course of study. They must operate within their individual scope of practice based on their license or certification.

Candidates must be enrolled in a board-Approved pre-Licensure program, taking a continuing education course, or be an unlicensed graduate of an accredited nursing program. They should also demonstrate various skills including effective communication and the ability to react calmly in emergencies.
