Speech Pathologist Assistant

The speech pathologist assistant provides coordinated speech therapy assistance to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed speech language pathologist. They administer the speech therapy treatment plan and apply infection control concepts in patient care activities.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of speech therapy assistant with a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. A current texas state license to practice speech therapy is also required.
