Employment Specialist

The employment specialist is responsible for providing direct support to individuals receiving employment services, building personalized employment plans based on their interests and skills. They engage with businesses to facilitate job tryouts and shadowing, while also supporting individuals in job application processes and interview preparation.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with an associate degree preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of experience providing employment services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
