Adult Health/Med-Surg Clinical Nursing Faculty

The instructor implements the college's philosophy and curriculum by planning clinical experiences, providing direct supervision, and evaluating nursing students delivering care to individuals or groups. Responsibilities also include developing written clinical assignments, providing timely feedback on student work, and maintaining current knowledge of agency policies and procedures.

Candidates must possess a master's or doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university, along with an unencumbered professional rn nursing license in virginia. A minimum of two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse is required, and an active bls certification is mandatory.
