The paraprofessional assists teachers in preparing educational materials and provides direct support to students individually or in small groups. They also manage daily classroom routines, monitor student activities, and maintain learning environments.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and pass the gace para assessment or hold an associate's degree. Applicants must also be able to obtain a georgia psc paraprofessional certificate and meet physical requirements for lifting and mobility.
