Diabetes Educator (RN)

The diabetes educator assesses patients at the diabetes care center to develop and implement individualized educational plans. They also facilitate both individual and group sessions to support diabetes self-Management.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing, health care administration, or dietetics, along with a valid registered nurse license in iowa or illinois. A minimum of two years of experience is required, and certification as a diabetes educator (Cde) must be obtained within two years.
