We are seeking a Outreach and Admissions Administrative Assistant for our residential trade and education center.

Job Summary

The Outreach and Admissions Administrative Assistant provides clerical support and related assigned duties to the Outreach & Admissions Department.

Duties

  • Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
  • Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains department schedule by updating calendars for department personnel, arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and assisting with travel plans.
  • Completes requests by greeting students, staff, and guests, in person or on the telephone, answers or refers inquiries while prioritizing confidentiality.
  • Prepares required reports and edits work done by others, ensuring company format policies are followed and necessary corrections are made.
  • Completes training on all office equipment, maintains office supply inventory, anticipates needed supplies; places supply orders, and verifies receipt of orders.
  • Complies with safety practices and transports students as needed.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills, good housekeeping, and continually models appropriate Career Success Standards.
  • Participates in staff training.
  • Mentors and monitors students as the opportunity and need arises.
  • Performs other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.

Experience

One year experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications required.

Education
