Job description

  • PedalPower Kids’ (PPK) mission is to build confident kids on bikes, and beyond!

  • The small group environment fosters the ability to learn quickly and push beyond comfort zones while feeling safe, supported, and encouraged. “Daring greatly is being scared and doing it anyway.” We believe that confidence and proficiency develop in tandem when kids feel safe, encouraged, and motivated by the PedalPower Kids Coaching Team.
  • Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the safety, enjoyment and development of every rider, first and foremost.
  • Extensive training on our coaching and instructional methodologies will be provided.
  • We’re looking for education and coaching pros with a big appetite to learn our proprietary Learn to Ride coaching methods and change lives with the power of bikes.

Loves to be busy and finds ways to be helpful without being asked Experience with kids (required) and bikes (desired) Available either for at least 4 weeks in the summer or weekday afternoons and/or weekend day time for Reliable transportation to and from program Physical requirements - able to lift 30 pounds comfortably, run and ride with program participants, and work in extreme weather conditions Able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
