Position Overview

We are hiring Recreational Skate Coaches to lead beginner-friendly sessions for youth (ages 4–14).

You do NOT need to be an expert skater. What matters most is your attitude, energy, and ability to connect with kids.

If you’re positive, patient, and coachable — we’ll train you.

Strong reliability and professionalism

Genuine interest in working with kids

Patience and encouragement-based coaching style

Desire to make a real impact

Willingness to be part of the skate community

What You’ll Do: Lead safe, structured skateboarding or roller skating sessions

Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment

Help beginners build confidence step by step

Follow THE SKATESIDE curriculum and class structure

Assist students with helmets and pads

Encourage participation and keep energy high

Help with setup, organization, and clean-up

Requirements: (Must Have)

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Background check required

Reliable transportation

Ability to work with kids in an active outdoor setting

Dependable and on time

Bonus (Not Required)

Skateboarding or roller skating experience

Coaching, teaching, or camp experience

Experience working with youth

Schedule & Locations
