Summer RN - Long-Term Sub

• Morrison Center is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to cover a leave.
• 18 hours a week for 12 weeks.
• Starting from the end of June through the end of September!
• Scarborough Maine at Morrison Center's Special Purpose Private School K-12.
• You would be working with a multidisciplinary team to help make a profound difference in the lives of children with special needs.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Maine Experience with children with disabilities is preferred Compassionate communicator with strong critical thinking and clinical skills. Ability to work independently while embracing a collaborative team model

Pay is $40/hour

What you will be doing

Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students throughout the school day. Build trusted, consistent relationships with students, gaining an in-depth understanding of their individual health needs. Administer first aid and on-site medical assessments for students and staff. Collaborate with school staff to implement and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs). Maintain clear, timely, and accurate documentation of nursing care and student health records. Serve as a leader in promoting health and safety best practices across the agency by supporting and facilitating staff training initiatives. Communicate with families and external medical professionals to ensure cohesive, holistic care for each student.
