YMCA Silver Spring Early Learning - Lead Teacher

The lead teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. They must also maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment while communicating effectively with families and educational partners.

Candidates must have a cda, aa, ba, or bs in early childhood education or a related field, along with current cpr and first aid certification. At least three years of experience working with children and one year of teaching in a licensed center are required.
