Adelphi is seeking a substitute Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide nursing support services in a school setting located in El Paso, Texas. The ideal candidate will work closely with licensed nursing staff and school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

Responsibilities

RMA

  • Perform basic clinical tasks (vitals, assisting with treatments, etc.)
  • Assist with medication administration support per policy
  • Handle documentation, record keeping, and health office coordination
  • Support communication with staff and families as directed
  • Work under supervision of licensed nursing staff
  • Any other duties as assigned

CNA

  • Provide first aid and basic care for minor illness/injury
  • Assist with observation and reporting of symptoms
  • Support health office operations (documentation, organization, assisting workflow)
  • Help with non-complex care tasks under direction of licensed staff
  • Escalate concerns to RN/LPN for clinical decisions
  • Any other duties as assigned
