Speech-Language pathology assistant (Slpa)

The speech-Language pathology assistant provides direct speech and language services to students in classroom and residential settings under the supervision of an slp. They also assist with data collection, iep goal development, and the maintenance of augmentative and alternative communication systems.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders or a related field. A valid speech-Language pathology assistant license from the massachusetts board of registration in speech-Language pathology and audiology is required.
