Specialized Education Assistant

The specialized education assistant provides instructional support to students in classroom settings to reinforce learning concepts and assist teachers with lesson plans. They also monitor student progress, maintain a functional learning environment, and perform necessary clerical and supervisory duties.

Candidates must hold an associate's degree, have completed 48 semester hours of college, or pass the parapro assessment test. One year of experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred, and cpr/First aid certification is required.
