Core responsibilities
The rise teacher is responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) while adapting lessons to meet the diverse academic and behavioral needs of students. They also facilitate family engagement, track student progress through data analysis, and manage the daily responsibilities of a special education co-Teacher.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and a valid texas state certification in special education. Experience working in a special education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities is strongly preferred.
