Core responsibilities
The rise teacher is responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) while teaching a variety of subjects to students with diverse disabilities. They also provide resources and emotional support to families and manage the daily work of a special education co-Teacher.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid texas state certification in special education. Experience in a special education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities is strongly preferred.
