Experience

  • Must have recent teaching experience preferably in a community college setting dealing with diverse student populations. Current nursing experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Must have a valid New Jersey Nursing License.
  • Skills/Abilities: 1. Ability to teach a full-range of nursing subjects, specifically pharmacology for nurses, nursing math, nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical and specialty nursing. 2. Ability to use appropriate instructional technology 3. Ability to develop and use innovative instructional approaches such as team teaching, collaborative learning and group problem solving. 4. Ability and willingness to work well with administrators, staff, faculty, college and community organizations and committees. 5.
