Pilates instructors are tasked with developing safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs to ensure goal achievement and retention while monitoring and instructing clients on the effective use of equipment during training sessions. They must also promote and sell various training programs and classes while maintaining the cleanliness of the pilates studio.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or ged is required, along with at least one year of personal training experience and specific certification in pilates, including mat, reformer, tower, chair, and barrels. Candidates must also be cpr and aed certified and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
