EIL Peer Mentor, Basic

The peer mentor provides coaching, encouragement, and practical advice to students to help them adapt to university life. They also observe and assist clients in mastering academic english skills and behavioral expectations within their discipline.

Candidates should have 6 months of directly relevant experience and preferably have completed 200-Level university coursework. Completion of introductory tesol or linguistics courses is considered helpful for this role.
