Job description

The University of Tennessee Southern enthusiastically invites applications for the position of Instructional Designer in the office of Distance Learning. We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative educator who designs with learner success at the forefront. This is a full-time staff on-campus position located in southern Middle Tennessee and reporting directly to the Distance Learning Coordinator.

The Instructional Designer will work under the supervision of the Distance Learning Coordinator while collaborating closely to design, develop, and support high-quality online and face-to-face courses. The position will play a key role in faculty development, instructional technology support, and institutional quality assurance processes. additionally, the instructional Designer will help to lead course review initiatives and support faculty in meeting quality standards.
