Core responsibilities
The substitute instructional aide provides individualized supervision and targeted instruction to students in grades k-12 to support their academic and social development. They also assist in implementing behavioral intervention strategies and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with student ieps.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain crisis management certification and a driver's license. Preference is given to those with an associate degree or higher and prior experience in special education or behavioral health settings.
