About the Role

Join Aspiring Munchkins LLC as an Early Intervention Special Instructor and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with developmental delays. Our dynamic team in Brooklyn, NY is dedicated to fostering growth and learning in a supportive and engaging environment. We are currently hiring Special Instructor throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC.

Responsibilities

Conduct individualized assessments to identify each child's unique needs and strengths. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans that promote developmental milestones. Provide direct instruction and support to children in various settings, including home and community. Collaborate with families to enhance their understanding of intervention strategies. Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure effectiveness. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices. Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about early intervention services.

Requirements

Master's degree in Special Education ( Students with disabilities Birth to Grade 2) Valid New York State certification in Special Education / Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2). Experience working with young children with special needs is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and teams. Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Passion for helping children reach their full potential. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
