- This is a NON-PAYING POSITION and is ONLY for NON-CERTIFIED CNA Training Program Participants.

Position Summary
Stonewall Living Center is seeking motivated, career-minded individuals with genuine compassion for the elderly to participate in our on-site CNA Training Program. This program prepares individuals for CNA certification while promoting professionalism, respect, teamwork, and quality resident care.

- On-site classroom and clinical instruction during scheduled CNA classes
- Must be able to sit, focus, and actively participate in a classroom setting
- Must conduct oneself in a respectful, professional manner toward instructors and classmates
- Attendance and completion of the CNA Training Program are required
- Essential duties & responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as permitted during training
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified care to elderly residents
- Observe residents and report changes in conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized resident environment
- Support residents’ emotional, mental, and social well-being
- Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures

Requirements
- Physical requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to assist with resident transfers and respond to emergencies
- Mental & emotional requirements
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally demanding situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional maturity, patience, and compassion toward the elderly
Qualifications
- Must be motivated, career-minded, and compassionate toward the elderly
- Must provide two (2) forms of acceptable identification
- Must pass background check, health screening, and required testing
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required · Must be dependable, hardworking, stable attendance with good hygiene
