Core responsibilities
The behavior technician will work directly with students in school settings to implement applied behavior analysis (Aba) techniques and support functional skill development. Responsibilities include collecting behavior data, documenting progress, and collaborating with school teams to foster student independence.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, 48 college credits, or a high school diploma/Ged with passage of the parapro praxis assessment. No prior experience is required as the role includes a paid training program to become a registered behavior technician.
